General Industry for Oil and Gas.  Some of the major companies do accept AWARE  or OSHA 10/30 Hr.  General Industry (with Oil and Gas Emphasis) training in lieu of the Safeland Training. Please consult your client for approval.

NEW for 2012

HHC Services, Inc. offers the West Virginia University AWARE Training for Oil and Gas in the Site Clearing, Production, Comprehensive tracts.  The AWARE program is produced under a Susan Hardwood grant for OSHA.  Participants receive a plastic identity card with their picture and proof of certification from West Virginia University.  This class can be taught in 1 day.

Dr. McCartney  has worked as the Techical Advisor to Andrews and Kurth on Gas Pipeline litigation as well as on massive pipeline construction projects, and development of overpressured oil and gas fields.

HHC Services, Inc. offers the OSHA General Industry and OSHA Contruction course with elective safety subjects that address oilfield safety for oil well and service companies.   Please see the 2012 Training Schedule for a full offering of classes.

HHC Services, Inc. will not be offering Safeland USA training due to the inadequacies of training program itself. 

PLEASE NOTE:

Please be aware that if your company personnel takes the SafeLand USA course, and your trainer awards a Department of Labor OSHA 10 hour General Industry Safety and Health course,  the class is in violation of the OSHA requirements and is being disallowed by OSHA.
